The two hour show drew a long long standing ovation. The Show is available as a Solo Presentation.
30th June 2022. Johnny Ball’s History of Blackpool Comedy, for The Brigantes Blackpool Tower Theatre.
30/6/22 “Blackpool Tower Theatre!” Johnny gave a 75 min talk on “Blackpool’s Comedy History”, to 350 Brigantes, London Livery people.
Working backwards, he featured his two Blackpool Seasons, Freddie Starr, who he introduced to Cabaret, Mike Yarwood and when they met Harry Worth, Les Dawson who JB knew before Television along with Norman Evans, Harry Secombe, Ken Dodd, Bud Flanagan whose last TV appearance was with Johnny as Straight Man in 1967, Albert Modley, George Formby, Gracie Fields, Rob Wilton and Stanley Holloway.
JOHNNY STILL MAKES VISITS FOR LECTURES, DEBATES AND DISCUSSIONS, ON ANY MATHS OR SCIENCE LINKED SUBJECTS.
HE ALSO TALKS ON COMEDY HISTORY, AND HIS OWN EXPERIENCES AFTER 17 YEARS AS A STAND UP COMEDIAN.
